Detroit Center to Host Wolverine Outdoor Stage at the 24th Annual Concert of Colors

From jazz riffs to Latin rock, experience Detroit’s 24th annual Concert of Colors festival as it returns to Midtown for four days of world music, July 14-17.

This annual diversity festival kicks off with a musical performance at the Arab American Museum in Dearborn on Thursday, July 14, followed by performances at the University of Michigan Detroit Center, Max M. Fischer Music Center, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Scarab Club, and Detroit Institute of Arts, July 15-17.

For the sixth consecutive year, the U-M Detroit Center returns as host of the Wolverine Outdoor Stage, located in the Sonick Courtyard at Orchestra Place.

This year’s headlining acts for the Wolverine Outdoor Stage include percussionist Sean Dobbins, leading his high-energy jazz band, and hip-hop, neo-soul sensation, ManaSol and the Nuts Trio.

This year’s Wolverine Stage will be emceed by radio personalities from CJAM 99.1 FM Windsor/Detroit.
