Noel Night at MSU and U-M Detroit Centers

The Detroit Centers of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan are partnering to host Noel Night activities on Saturday, December 3. Travel to Midtown Detroit’s famed south end to enjoy performing and visual arts, a fun-filled scavenger hunt, as well as, holiday crafts and treats. Free parking is available at the MSU lot and streets adjacent to either Center.

The festive schedule features events at both locations.

MSU Detroit Center:

  • 5:00 – MSU Community Music School
  • 5:30 – Lecture & Craft-making on Ramadan Charity Jar; Scavenger Hunt #1
  • 6:00 – MSU Community Music School; 6:30 – Lecture & Craft-making on the Hanukkah Dreidel
  • 7:00 – U-M Music Outreach Program
  • 7:30 – Lecture & Craft-making on the Christmas Star; Scavenger Hunt #2
  • 8:00 – MSU Community Music School

U-M Detroit Center:

  • 5:00 – U-M Music Outreach Program
  • 5:30 – Hanukkah Lecture & Dreidel Craft-making; Scavenger Hunt #1
  • 6:00 – Music selections from Plowshares Theatre’s “A Jazzy Christmas”
  • 6:30 – Lecture & Craft-making on the Christmas Star
  • 7:00 – MSU Community Music School
  • 7:30 – Lecture & Craft-making on Ramadan Charity Jar; Scavenger Hunt #2
  • 8:00 – Richard Rischar & Friends

Both Centers:

  • 5:00-8:30 – Enjoy professional artist exhibitions and satisfy your sweet tooth with cider, hot chocolate, donuts and Spartan & Wolverine cookies.
