Feodies Shipp III
Feodies Shipp is in charge with facilities management and administers several U-M Detroit Center programs, such as the Midtown Challenge and MLK Day Activities.
Feodies Shipp III is a native Detroiter and graduate of Cass Technical High School. He earned a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan and M.A. in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University. The current staff position at the U-M Detroit Center attracted him, because it brought together two of his passions – the University and the City of Detroit. In this role, he aims to find new and engaging ways to build and sustain relationships between these communities.
Shipp has over 15 years of service to the University, primarily with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Prior to his position at the U-M Detroit Center, he most recently served as Assistant Director of Recruitment Programming and Outreach. He also held appointments as Senior Admissions Counselor and Student Outreach Specialist.
