Funded by the David Bohnett Foundation, the Ford School of Public Policy continues the tradition of sending two interns to the City of Detroit mayor's office. The program has sent students to work on economic development, foreclosure and tax implications, recycling and environmental policy, and a range of other issues. Several mayoral interns have gone on to work for the City since their graduation.
