The summer art exhibition season kicks off in Monts Hall on Friday, May 6 with the show, “Award Winners and Selected Works of the 21st Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners.”

Local Artists Under 10 returns to the University of Michigan Detroit Center’s Monts Hall Gallery with an all new youth inspired lineup from April 8 – April 30, 2016.

On April 12 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. students who participated in the Local Artists Under 10 exhibition will partake in a story hour with author and storyteller Gwendolyn Lewis. Each child will receive a copy of “The Little Fish and Big Bad Shark” by Ken Gist and Will Grace.
