The University of Michigan Detroit Center continues the fourth annual Sankofa Film Series with a screening that features the multi-talented artist, Langston Hughes.

The films, “His Life and Times” and “Salvation” begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 24 and include free admission, parking and light refreshments.

The spring exhibition season at the University of Michigan Detroit Center presents, “Under the Influence: Youth Artists in the D,” April 24 - May 22.

Highlighting student created art from the Detroit School of Arts (DSA), “Young Artists in the D” is a visual exhibition influenced by the works of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.
